Attending Church In-Person

Join Us again for in-person Worship from 19th February 2022

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone back to church. To ensure that everyone remains safe during worship services, we are kindly asking that you follow the outlined restrictions as set out by the Risk Assessment team.
 
Below is a summary of the procedures which everyone should adhere to, unless you are exempt for medical reasons.
 
What to do if I am attending church service in person?
 
  • Reserve your seat before attending the church service. This will enable us to plan appropriate seating and to relocate people to the overflow hall if needed.
 
  • Take a COVID-19 Rapid Lateral Flow Test before attending church service.
 
 
  • Wear a face mask at all times when attending church service.
 
  • Hands must be sanitised on entry and exit of the church building.
 
  • Remain in your bubble.
 
  • Children should be seated with parents at all times.
 
  • Ushers will direct you to the pews.
 
  • Follow the one way ushering system on arrival and departure and depart immediately when asked to do so by the ushers to allow for cleaning.
 
  • Maintain social distance at all times.
 
  • Social distancing is reduced from 2 metres to 1 metre. We therefore ask that people leave one seat between households.
 
  • Please remember to bring your own masks with you.
 
  • The church building will not be open for the purpose of dining and you will need to bring water as the water facilities remains out of operation.
 
  • If you subsequently test positive after attending a service, you should immediately inform the risk assessment team, church clerk and onther leaders. Contact details can be found here.
 
  • These arrangements are likely to remain in place and we will continue to review them regularly.
 
To help us to continually provide the best service in keeping everyone safe, from time to time the Deacon and Deaconesses will seek out volunteers to assist in the following areas:
a) Greetings team
b) Ushering
c) Cleaning
